I think it’s interesting that Arab News reported on the problem the director general of the Islamic Saudi Academy is having as a result of his failure to report allegations of child abuse. The reporting both informs Saudi readers of the problems the school is having regarding its texts as well as pointing out that child abuse allegations are handled quite differently, by law, in other places. Google Trends added a new website layer to its search analytics tool Friday. The new feature graphs the amount of daily unique visitors to a website and compares it to other sites, demonstrating a window into the highs and lows of web traffic.

Google yesterday added a significant feature to Google Trends. You can now enter in URLs and get back rather rich site traffic data. Barry Schwartz has a great rundown. I will have more to say about this shortly as I play with it over the weekend. However, in the meantime, I wanted to share this bookmarklet I created.
